St. Mary's Church, Edwinstowe.The Robin Hood Festival takes place each year in Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, Notts.
St. Mary's Church in Edwinstowe is the place it is believed Robin Hood and Maid Marian were married.
 
The new Visitor Centre, Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe.The new Visitor Centre is where you can find information, gifts, facilities and refreshments.
 
The Major Oak, Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe.The Major Oak, more famously known as Robin Hood's Tree.
The tree is thought to be around 800 to a 1000 years old. Sherwood Forest was once a Royal hunting forest and covers over 1000 acres.
